Punkin Patch

Daddy and the Little Man

This one's mine. I'm gonna take it home and love it and call it mine.

A little Mommy Lovin'

Pickin' Punkins'

Hang on Sis. Mommy taught me how to drive like a race car driver!

We went to the Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch at the beginning of October with friends from Church. The kids all had a great time and picked out a few pumpkins for home. For weeks the kids kept talking about the "bounce hops" at the "punkin patch"!

Sunday Best

Now if that's not a "He just pulled my hair!" picture, I don't know what is!

Little Cuties

Princess

Future Lady Killer :)

The daughter of a friend of mine was going off to college and dropped her cell phone a week before she left. I had a spare and passed it down. She bought the kids some awesome clothes from Gap as a "Thank You". They were so adorable at Church in their new clothes from Mrs. Maureen. Thanks Lady!

Cookies with Mommy

They were so good at cooking mashed potatoes, I thought we'd try our hand at cookies. This is the first time we attempted this, and it went better than planned. Of course JP, a boy after his Mommy's heart, was hard to keep out of the cookie dough. Son...it's much better with ice cream...trust me! :) They helped mix the batter and use a melon baller to put them on the cookie sheet. Great Fun!

Little Chefs

A peelin' little fool!

Here's a clean one, Daddy.

I'll wash more for you, Daddy.

The kids decided to help Daddy fix dinner the other night. Of course they fixed the house favorite....mashed potatoes!! They were such big help cleaning the potatoes, "peeling", and washing the peeled ones. I'm not real sure if Daddy could have stood much more help :)

My Pet Fly

OK...for some reason we had a couple of flies in the house. And we're not talking your average, everyday house fly. These were enormous horse flies. They'd been hanging around and one got a little slow. I think he got a little heavy on the apple juice. Anyway...Julia decided it was her pet. She found it on the floor and picked it up. It crawled all over her arm and hands and she thought it was the best pet ever...even surpassing Leroy and Belle and the occasional doodle bugs we find on the sidewalk. She eventually she sent it to fly heaven, but it was lots of fun while it lasted. That's our girl. Won't play with dolls and colors, but give her a housefly....!!

I got you, Babe

JP and Julia have become very close over the past few months. Julia tries to comfort JP when he's upset, and he likes to be with her and do everything she does. When JP cries, Julia tells him "It's OK JP. You don't have to cry." It's so sweet. I snapped this picture when he wanted to hold her hand in the car the other day. I have to say...it definately melted my heart. Gotta love those kids...

Day at the Park

Whew! What a ride!

Can you dig it?!

Frisco Commons Park

Roger took us to Frisco Commons Park a few weeks ago. It's a great park situated on several acres of rolling hills. There is a big wooden playground toward the front of the park with a walking trail around the perimeter. In the back is an amphitheatre that overlooks a lake. We played at the playground for an hour or so then ate the picnic Roger packed for us. We had a wonderful time enjoying the outdoors and running off some energy. I'm sure we will go again sometime before the cooler weather settles in.
