I was able to get a few bluebonnet pictures when we were out at an Easter Eggstravaganza in McKinney. I have to admit....these kids are pretty darn cute!

We had lots of fun this Easter. It was the first Easter that the kids really "got" what was going on and could really participate in the egg hunting and festivities. It was also the weekend before Roger's birthday, so we had a fun filled weekend!

We finally bought the kids some mud boots for all the times we go fishing or playing near creeks. It's always great fun to water the front yard in our mud boots. You can only imagine how wet the insides of their boots are when we are done!

We recently took a trip to the Fresh Water Fisheries Center for an expo they have on trout fishing. It was a great opportunity to take the kids fishing at a lake that we knew was well stocked with hungry fish. JP had a great time catching his little bass.

Fire Officer of the Year

Roger was recently chosen as Fire Officer of the Year for Allen Fire Department. We are all so proud of his accomplishments and his ability to safely lead his men. Way to go Roger!

JP decided he needed to do one last home improvement project before bathtime one night. As soon as I got him undressed he shot off for the work bench. I think I'll use this as ammo when he's older!
