Glippity Glop

We walked the bank of the lake (Ray Roberts) in search of some good fishing spots and adventures for the kids. Julia got stuck in the mud and called for Daddy The Hero to come save her. We almost had to call in reserves for them both, but Daddy pulled it out!

Chillin' like a Villan

Yo Lady! How am I supposed to chill with an empty?!

She's a Super Star!

It was the first evening there and the kids and I were chilling while Roger started the fire for supper. Fajitas and Quesadillas....YUM! Kids thought it was cool to put their cups in their cupholders like Mommy and Daddy...and NO they didn't have the same drinks we did! ;)

Treasure Boxes

I packed clear plastic tubs with lids for the kids to collect their "treasures" in when we went camping. Julia insisted on collecting Doodle Bugs. She was so funny scooping up lots of rocks and sorting through them for Doodle Bugs!

Breakfast in the Woods

Our Humble Abode
We had to buy a much bigger tent since it is no longer just Roger and I staying in it.

Their morning cup of coffee (aka: Milk) ;)

CHEEZE!!!!
Such a ham!

We went on our first tent camping trip as a family in April. The first night was a little rough, in that the twins didn't get to sleep till 10ish due to the wind and new noises. They really enjoyed eating breakfast in the great outdoors in their jammies!

The Best Binoculars Money Can Buy

The kids made binoculars for our camping trip so they could see all the animals and creatures in the "forest". We used toilet paper tubes, string, glue, and stickers. Just a simple project that they had a blast with. I never would have thought they'd be such a hit!

My Friend "Bug"

The kids found a beetle on the back patio one day and decided it was their friend. It was so funny to see them "petting" their friend Bug. It's nice they love the outdoors and all the animals and creatures in it!

Artsy Fartsy

We bought the kids an art easel for craft time. The kids really like to paint and tempra paint is really hard to get off the kitchen table. They are really having a good time painting on their new easel!

Play Ball!!

Daddy getting a little bat time.

JP having a BLAST!

The kids got a baseball tee and bats for their birthday. We were thinking "Ok....who's gonna need the ambulance first??". It actually went well. Julia is really good at swinging the bat, and JP's favorite part was putting the balls back on the tee. They had so much fun. Hopefully it cools off some so we can play more!
